Our Story
Established in 2021, Westside Sparkling is a collection of fun and exciting sparkling wines created by four friends and vintners from California; Lise Asimont, Shawn Philips, Monica Lopez, and Francisco Lopez. Westside Sparkling is a culmination of a great and fun-loving relationship that blossomed over the past year, as we all began working together in our shared Tasting Room at Bacchus Landing. The result are world class wines.
Lise and Shawn are the proud owners and creators of Dot Wine, which focuses on Pinot Noir from the Russian River Valley, and the brother-sister tandem duo of Monica and Francisco are the proprietors of Aldina Vineyards, a pioneering Cabernet Sauvignon producer from the Fountaingrove District.
The meeting of our owners was by chance as Lise and Shawn were at the first dinner hosted at Bacchus Landing, where Monica and Francisco were pouring Aldina Vineyards. So when the idea to produce a new sparkling wine brand came to be, they wanted to commemorate their meeting place of Bacchus Landing located off Westside Road here in Healdsburg, CA and keep the joy bubbling.
